Dave Mills

Dave Mills, 56, of Aquilla passed away on December 22, 2011 in Fort Worth.

Private Memorial Services will be held at a later date.

Dave was born on June 21, 1955 in Taylorville, Ill to Ross and Mary Woodall Mills. He graduated from high school in Taylorville in 1973. He entered the United States Army where he served as a medic. He worked as a registered nurse as Saint Vincent Memorial Hospital in Taylorville, IL and at Memorial Hospital in Springfield, IL prior to moving to Aquilla, Texas. He then worked as a Trauma ER Nurse at Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center for 10 years before joining Fresenius Medical Care in 2005. He was very accomplished at computer science and enjoyed building and operating systems. He was of the Methodist faith. Dave was a member of the American Legion and the Nurses Association of the State of Texas.

Preceding him in death were his father and brother, Michael Mills.

Survivors include his wife, Olivia Lee Mills of Aquilla; mother, Mary Mills of Aquilla; sons,
Christopher Mills and wife, Darlene, Shawn Mills and wife Angela all of Taylorville, IL; stepchildren, Stephanie Acker of West, Stephen Acker of Aquilla, Michael Acker and wife, Colleen from Mertens; sisters, Susan Wade and husband, Dean, Lisa Roberts and husband, Brian all of Aquilla; grandchildren, Robert Pullen, Cory Krouse, Chris Mills, Jr., Dalton Durbin, Dustin Durbin, Blake Mills, Keagan Scott, Quinton Mills, Nathaniel Mills, Lindsey Kincade, Aidan Kincade, Xander Mills, Megan Acker, Simon Acker, Corben Acker; great granddaughter, Abigail Krouse; several nieces and nephews.
