David Hernandez, 52, of Arlington, passed away on Friday, April 3, 2017, in Fort Worth. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., April 7, 2017, at Whitney Memorial Park in Whitney under the direction of Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Hillsboro with Father Ouseph Thekkumthala officiating. A visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. on Thursday, April 6, at the funeral home in Hillsboro.
David was born on November 10, 1964, to Eusebio Hernandez, Jr. and Olivia Hernandez in Edinburg. He grew up in Elsa, Texas and graduated from E.E, High School where he loved playing for the Yellowjackets. He enjoyed football and hockey, especially the Dallas Cowboys and the Dallas Stars, and he enjoyed fishing as well. David was of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include his father, Eusebio Hernandez, Jr of Pharr and his mother, Olivia Hernandez of Hillsboro; brothers, Eusebio Hernandez III and wife, Juanita of Arlington, Jaime Hernandez and wife, Frances of Elsa and Javier Hernandez and wife, Trinie also of Elsa; sisters, Yolanda Luisgan of East Wenatchee, WA, Marina Flores and husband, Arturo of Missouri City, and Sylvia Hernandez of Monte Alto; several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
