Debbie Elaine Moore, 61, of Woodway, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 4, 2020. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at First Baptist Church, Whitney, with Pastor Gary Bridges and Pastor Jay Morris officiating. Burial will follow at Whitney Memorial Park in Whitney. A visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home on Friday evening, February 14, 2020.
Debbie was born on October 6, 1958, to Howard and Winifred (Hay) Hudson in Big Spring, Texas where she grew up and graduated from Coahoma High School in 1976. After graduation, she pursued a career in healthcare, working as a respiratory therapist while raising her family. On December 10, 2005, she married Rodney Moore.
She was a faithful Christian, always willing to witness and share the gospel of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was an avid church member at Speegleville Baptist Church in Speegleville, Texas God was number one in her life. She loved her family unconditionally.
Preceding her in death were her parents; a brother, Jerry Don Hudson, and a son, Nathan.
Survivors include her husband, Rodney Moore of Woodway; children, Anna Samford of Laguna Park and Rebekah Burleson and husband, Jesse of Doniphan, MO; five grandchildren, Farrah Watson, Jesse Burleson III, Tabitha Burleson, Brett Burleson, Dixie Burleson; a brother, Jim Hudson of Doniphan, MO; several nieces, nephew, aunts, cousins and other relatives and friends.
