Dee Carmichael

Dee Carmichael, age 68, of Hillsboro passed away Thursday, February 21, 2019. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 25, 2019 at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Abbott, Texas with Rev. Joseph Keating as celebrant. Burial will follow at Ridge Park Cemetery in Hillsboro. A viewing will begin 9:00 a.m. Sunday, February 24th with the Rosary to be recited at 5:00 p.m. with visitation to follow from 5:30-7:30 at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Hillsboro.

Dee was born March 16, 1950 in Hidalgo County, Texas, the daughter of Eddie and Mary Flores. She worked for Oncor Electric Delivery for over 44 years. She married Earl Carmichael on October 21, 2000. Dee was full of life and was quick to make people laugh. She loved going with Earl when he played music, especially at the nursing home where she enjoyed visiting with the residents. She especially loved her two dogs, Kobe and Dakota.

Dee is preceded in death by her father and is survived by her husband, Earl; mother, Mary Flores; brothers, Eddie Flores, Jr., and Joe Flores and wife, Patricia; sister, Yolanda Bandy and husband, Wayne; two nephews, Justin Flores and wife Tiffany, and Tommy Bandy and wife, Christi; one great-niece, Maya; one great-nephew, Griffin; and her many friends.
