Delores Gauer

Delores Ann Gauer 78, of Whitney was called home on Saturday, December 22, 2018. The family will hold a private memorial service at Prairie Valley Cemetery a later date.

Delores was born on September 22, 1940 in Caribou, Maine. She lived most of her life in Bellmead until moving to Whitney four years ago to be near her family.

She was known to many as NeNe and always had a smile on her face and a story to tell. Nothing brought her more joy than her four great-grandchildren, Dalton, Kimber, Gracin J. And Adalynn. She will be dearly missed by many.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her daughter, Brenda Halbert and husband, Michael “Tootie”Halbert; granddaughter, Shannon Hernandez and husband, Manuel; grandson, Justin “J” Halbert and wife Kara; Great- grandchildren, Dalton, Kimber, Gracin J. and Adalynn.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors, P.O. Box 273, Whitney, Texas 76692 to assist family with funeral expenses.

Private services will be held at a later date
