Diana Orban 71, of Whitney passed away on March 3, 2012 in Waco.

Memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 8, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Open Range Cowboy Church near Whitney with Brad Orban and Chris Donaho officiating.

Diana was born on December 22, 1940 in Waukegan, Illinois to the late Walter and Eleanor Helmkamp. In 1959, Diana joined the United States Navy where she met and married her husband, Joseph Andrew Orban on September. 1, 1962. She was a LVN at Sphohn Hospital Renal Care Unit in Corpus Christi, Texas for many years. Diana had a deep love for cooking and cherished her family.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph Andrew Orban; sisters, Cindy Kissinger, Lisa Ruark and husband, Dennis; brother, Tam Dyvig and wife, Shelley; sons, Bradley Orban and wife, Diane, Brian Orban; daughters, Tiffany Quinn, Michelle Conely; grandchildren, Jonathan Juelg, Alexis Orban, Cali Jo Orban, Christopher Orban, Stacey Orban, Stephanie Orban, Matthew Quinn, Brianna Quinn, Derek Kilpatrick and Brooke Kilpatrick; great grandchildren, Destiny Juelg, Brody Kilpatrick and Ray Conely.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Whitney Food Bank.
