Diana P. Wiseman, 81, of Covington passed away Tuesday morning, June 28, 2016, at The Gardens in Keene. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 9, 2016, at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Hillsboro with Chaplain Nancy Schneider officiating.
Diana was born October 1, 1934 in Honolulu, Hawaii to Ivan Myrvin and Rose (Hu) Ramseyer. After leaving Hawaii at the age of 19, she lived all over the world including France, England, Puerto Rico, Kansas, and Mississippi. Diana settled in Fort Worth where she met Johnny Wiseman on June 26, 1967. It was love at first sight and they were united in marriage on February 14, 1968 in Fairfield. Diana operated and managed an insurance casualty agency in Covington for many years. She later worked as a secretary with Johnny at his insurance agency in Cleburne. Following Diana’s retirement, she went to work as a sales representative for Ambit Energy. A licensed beautician, she also operated a beauty shop in Covington for a few years. Diana and Johnny loved to travel together, venturing from Hawaii to Switzerland. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Covington and Royal Neighbors.
Preceding her in death were her parents; brother, Ivan Myrvin Ramseyer, Jr.; and a sister, Rose Jane Ramseyer.
Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Johnny Wiseman of Covington; two daughters, Rebecca Jean Wiseman of St. Charles, IL and Angela L. Wiseman of Saginaw; three granddaughters, Alexus L. Maldonado and husband, Bradley, of Crowley and Diana Louise Rodgers and Sara Brook Rodgers, both of Saginaw; and a brother, Clifford Ramseyer of Hawaii.
