Don Foster

Don was born January 19, 1935 in Powderly, Texas to W. I. and Flora Bell Hutchison Foster. He graduated school in Powderly. He first married Ettalene Morris and she preceded him in death on December 7, 1985. Later he married Pat McFarland on February 22, 1987 in Whitney. For 23 years he worked at Kountry Grocery in Whitney. He was of the Baptist Faith. Also preceding him in death were two brothers, Virgil Foster and Grady Foster; a step-daughter, Alice Gordon; and a step-son, James Herbert Morris. Survivors include his wife, Pat Foster of Whitney; three step-sons, Jeff Wilson of Whitney, Willard Morris of Alabama, and Donald Eugene Morris of Sulphur Springs; a brother, Melvin Foster of Lake Jackson; a sister, Dorothy Blackburn of Selmer, Tennessee; an aunt, Murbyl Hutchison of Whitney; several grandchildren including, Teresa Morgan, Tammy Shelton, Tasha Wilson, and Rachel Wilson; great-grandchildren Brandi Reynolds, Tiffany Shelton, and Brittany Shelton; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
