Don Gault

Don Gault passed away at his residence on March 7, 2006. He was the son of William James and Edna Zola Warren Gault. He grew up in New York and served in the U. S. Navy during World War II in the European Theater. After his time in the service he moved to Texas and married Betty Louise Smith on May 11, 1946. She preceded him in death on December 7, 2004. He worked as a paint contractor all of his life and moved to Whitney in 1985. Don was a member of Fort Graham Baptist Church and the American Legion. He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Don was loved dearly and will be deeply missed by his children, Don Gault, Jr. and wfie Penny of Keller, Sharon Massey and husband, Bob of Fort Worth, Kathy Winbrow and husband, Jerry of Burleson, Debra Belvin and husband, J. B. of Whitney, Frances Newton and husband, Allen of Whitney; brother, Frank Gault; sisters, Betty Hubbard, Jeanne Stevens; grandchildren, David, Teresa, Shannan, Andrew, Greg, Kim, Johnny, Cindy, Brandi, Brent, Michael, Katie, Stephanie, Ashley; great grandchildren, Brittany, Brooke, Nicholas, Jacob, Cade, Matthew, Heather, Lilly, Nikki, Jeremy, Jocelin; devoted friend and sister-in-law, Katherine Chitwood, numerous nieces and nephews and many dear friends.
