Don Holderman

Don Holderman, 87 of Clifton passed away on February 3, 2010. Don was born on December 8, 1922 in Dickens, Texas; the son of the late Dee and Ermine Wooten Holderman. He grew up in Portales, New Mexico. During World War II, he was a Japanese POW in the Philippines and after 20 years of service in the Unites States Army he retired. On February 21, 1946, married Maxine Watkins in Carlsbad, New Mexico. They moved to the Laguna Park area in 1988. He was a member of Masonic Blue Lodge and the Scottish Rite. Survivors include his wife, Maxine of Clifton; daughter, Donna Curl and husband, Mike of Chandler, Arizona; brother, Hulin Holderman of Lovington, New Mexico and two grandchildren, Sam and Maya Curl.
