Don Trompler

Biography

Don Rowland Trompler passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 21, 2011, at Methodist Medical Center in Dallas. Graveside services will be held at Noon on Monday, April 25, at Peoria Cemetery in Peoria. A memorial service will be held at a later date at Kessler Park United Methodist Church in Dallas.

Don was born March 16, 1944 in Hillsboro. In 1961 he graduated from Seagoville High School and attended Southwestern University in Georgetown. He was retired from the Dallas County Clerk’s office.

Survivors include his mother, Julia Allison Trompler of Dallas; brother, Dr. Raymond Allison Trompler and wife, Helen, of Las Cruces, NM; two nephews, Robert A. Trompler and wife, Sharon, of Las Cruces, NM and Curtis Rowland Trompler of Austin; a great-nephew, Ryan A. Trompler of Las Cruces, NM; and numerous cousins.
