Donald Deal

Donald Deal, age 70, passed away Friday, February 15, 2013 in Dallas. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Monday, February 18, 2013 at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Whitney, with Dr. Allan Lane officiating. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery, also in Whitney. Visitation will be from 1:00-3:00 P.M., Monday at the funeral home.

Donald was born in Waco, Texas, on July 24, 1942, to J. C. and Ariel (Shelton) Deal. He was preceded in death by his wife Brenda on August 19, 2005 and also two grandchildren, Desiree Jones and Scotti Freeman.

An avid fisherman, Donald also dearly loved his grand babies and his outgoing nature touched the lives of many people.

He is survived by his children, Tina Smith, Donna Johnson, Donald Deal Jr., Justin Jones, Jr. and wife Sharon, Codie Bradish and husband Joe, and Chris Deal and wife Kandice; brothers and sisters, Johnny Deal and wife Edith, Jo Nell Kilpatrick, Thomas Wayne Deal and wife Susie, Douglas Naylor Deal and wife Betty, and Barbara Anders and husband Roy; grandchildren, Wade Stewart, Tyler Ketchum, Stephen Ketchum, Brooklyn Deal, Madison Deal, Rachel Ketchum, Christle Deal, Peyton Bradish and Bryce Bradish; and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
