Donald Ray Williams, 63, of Hillsboro passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2012, at Homestead Heritage Nursing and Rehabilitation in Hillsboro. Graveside services will be held at Noon on Thursday, October 11, 2012, at Ridge Park Cemetery with Rev. Greg Johnson officiating. Visitation will be held from 9-11 a.m. Thursday morning prior to the graveside services at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors in Hillsboro.
Donald was born July 19, 1949 in Hillsboro to Charles V. and Mamie Charlene (Cagle) Williams. He lived all his life in Hillsboro and the Hill County area. In 1973, he married Sandra Johnson. Before going to work for Hill County at the county barn in Blum, he had worked for Pure Milk.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra Williams of Hillsboro; parents, Charles and Charlene Williams of Hillsboro; step-son, Ben Brashear of Austin; two brothers, Ronnie Williams and wife, Joyce, of Streetman and Randy Williams of Hillsboro; sister, Brenda James and husband, Douglas, of Waco; uncle, James T. Cagle of Hillsboro; three aunts, Edith Rice and Helen McIntire both of Fort Worth and Aletha Cagle of Denison; and several nieces and nephews.
