Donnie Morris

Donnie Lee Morris age 74 of Whitney passed away on June 20, 2009 at Waco, Texas Donnie Lee was born on February 3, 1935 in Cleburne, Texas, the son of the late Jimmy and Annie Hardin Morris. On November 14, 1953 he married Barbara Hall in Covington, Texas. He was in the steel construction business retiring in October of 1991. He enjoyed playing guitar, singing and working at the church. He was a member of Fort Graham Baptist Church in Whitney. He was also preceded in death by one grandson, Joshua Morris. Survivors: wife, Barbara of Whitney; daughter, Donna Clay and husband, Joe of Fort Worth; son, Randy Morris and wife, Holly of Cleburne; son, Ricky Morris and wife, Mollie of Joshua; two brothers, Tommy Morris and wife, Dareen of Blanton and Bobby Morris of Whitney; sisters, Jimmie Lowe of Hillsboro and Bennie Ani of Boerne; four grandchildren, Heather Babcock and husband, Travis of Ft. Worth, Christopher Morris of Cleburne, April Long of Cleburne and Jennifer Clay of Arvada, Colorado; two great-grandchildren, Tyler Long of Cleburne and Maryan Babcock of Ft. Worth.
