Dora Avery

Dora Garcia Avery, 48, of Cleburne, died Wednesday, July 6, 2005, at the Emery J. Lilge Hospice House in Fort Worth. Dora was born July 10, 1956 in Abbott, Texas the daughter of A. C. and Frances Garcia. She was a child care worker and of the Catholic faith. On December 3, 1991 she married Elton Avery in Cleburne. Survivors include her husband, Elton Avery of Cleburne; her mother, Frances Garcia of Hillsboro; four children, Tara Wallace, Franki Wallace, Elton Avery III, and Eli Avery all of Cleburne; four brothers, George Curiel, Fred Garcia, Reuben Garcia, and Jesse Garcia; five sisters, Rita Harrison, Aurelia Mace, Virginia Bartley, Frances Estrada, and Janie Curiel; and numerous nieces and nephews.
