Dora Bonds

Areda was born on May 9, 1922 in Hillsboro, the daughter of Cornelius Wagner and Mary BelleNiles Harris. She had lived in the Hillsboro and Whitney area most of her life and attended school at Grubb Hill Community. Areda first married Marvin Leroy Brown in 1941 and later married Pope Allen ?Gogie? Bonds in 1958. She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene in Whitney. Preceding her in death were her parents and husband. Survivors include her son, Larry Brown and wife, Anna of Waco; grandchldren, Jason Brown, Timothy Brown; brothers, J. R. Harris of Waco, Johnny Harris of Clifton; sister, Mary Oree Dunn and husband, William of Fort Worth; several nieces and nephews.
