Doris Neal

Doris was born November 19, 1925 in Itasca the daughter of daughter of Kellog and Estelle Johnston Hawes. She grew up in Itasca, graduated from Itasca High School and Hill Junior College and attended Sam Houston State University. On April 16, 1949 she married Pat Neal in Lubbock, Texas. She lived in Hillsboro in the 1960's. Doris helped form and was a member of the Philotechnos Club and was a cub scout leader. Preceding her in death were her parents, four brothers, and two sisters. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Hillsboro. Survivors include her husband, Pat Neal; five children, Tim Neal, Mart Neal, Cindy Neal, Brad Neal and his wife, Teresa, and Amy Kuebler and her husband, Tim; one brother, Joe Hawes and his wife, Betty; six grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
