Doris Elaine Reynolds, 86, of Granbury, passed away on Friday evening, November 1, 2013, in a Fort Worth hospital. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM, Wednesday, November 6, at Hillcrest Garden of Memory near Hillsboro with Rev. Darrell Lewis officiating. Visitation wil be prior to the graveside service, from 12:00 - 1:30 PM, Wednesday, at Grace Community Church, 2008 N. FM 56, Glen Rose, TX 76403, where the family will be gathering.
Doris was born in Hobart, Oklahoma, on April 18, 1927, to Homer Ruel and Frankie Beatrice (Cox) Shipman. She was raised and attended school in Bonham before attending I.B.M. school in Dallas and living in Fort Worth. In 1946, she married Johnny Cassol and they lived in both Fort Worth and Arlington before he preceded her in death in 1967. In 1968, she married John Randolph Reynolds and they lived in Arlington before moving to Whitney in 1980. He preceded her in death in 1995. Before retiring in 1972, Doris worked as a computer operator for 15 years. She was a member of University Baptist Church in Arlington.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands; and a sister, Betty Francis.
She is survived by her sons, Johnny Cassol, III and wife, Judi and Michael Ray Cassol and wife, Shirley; grandchildren, Amy Rivera and husband, Juan, Angela Cassol, John Moon and wife, Barbye, Christi Davis, John Cassol and wife, Lisa, Elaine Cassol, Scott Stephenson and Craig Stephenson; great-grandchildren, Adam Gottschalk, Casey Gottschalk, Reagan Moon, Brayden Davis, Taylor Garner, Kim Cassol, and Cameron Cassol.
