Dorothy Broberg

Dorothy Broberg, 82, of Cedar Hill, formerly of Whitney, died Friday, February 1, 2008, at her residence in Cedar Hill. Dorothy was born September 20, 1925 in Miles, TX the daughter of Ross Monroe and Johnny Bell Phillips Martin. Dorothy grew up around the Rosebud area. She married J. Zercher and he preceded her in death. She later married Kenneth Broberg on March 25, 1964. They moved to Whitney in 1975, and Kenneth preceded her in death on December 12, 1989. She was also Preceded in death by 1 brother, Johnny Ross Martin in 1979. She was a member of the Abiding Life Assembly of God in Whitney. Survivors include her children, Jay Zercher and Judy of Redlands, CA, Susan Axmark and Paul of Fayetteville, Ark., and Becky Broberg of Cedar Hill; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
