Dorothy Pauline Faulkner, 83, of Bynum passed away Friday, November 14, 2014, at Town Hall Estates Nursing Home in Whitney. Graveside services will be held at Noon on Tuesday, November 18, 2014, at Brandon Cemetery in Brandon with Rev. Jim Patton officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00-11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 18, 2014, at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors in Hillsboro.
Dorothy was born September 6, 1931 in Fort Worth to Robert Barnett and Pearl (Blue) Barnett Clowers. She lived in Fort Worth most of her life. In 2012, she moved from Azle to Bynum to live with her son and daughter-in-law. For many years, she worked as a cafeteria cook in the school system and also worked as a waitress. An avid fisherman, in her spare time she also enjoyed dancing, going to the roller derby, and attending wrestling matches. She was of the Baptist faith. Preceding her in death were her parents; a son, David Jenkins; and three brothers.
Survivors include a son, Larry Jenkins and wife, Mary, of Bynum; daughter, Cynthia Souder of Fort Worth; sister, Loretta Wisenhunt of Azle; six grandchildren, Rowdy McMurray, Heath McMurray, Daniel Jenkins, Justin Jenkins, Toby Ottwell, and Craig Souder; and eight great-grandchildren.
