Dorothy Furnish

Dorothy E. Furnish, 84, of Whitney passed away on November 15, 2005 in Clifton. She was the daughter of Jess and Minnie Fornash Webster. She married Willard Ray Furnish on August 24, 1940 in Owen Co., Ky. He preceded her in death on July 22, 2004. Dorothy was a volunteer for the Lake Whitney Medical Center; former member of First Church of the Nazarene in Whitney and a member of White Bluff Chapel. She loved painting, knitting, crocheting and playing the piano. Also preceding her in death were her parents; three sisters and two brothers. Survivors include her son, Thomas R. Furnish; adopted children, Cheryl ?Candy? Barnett and Jerry Lee Barnett of Whitney; grandchildren, Lee Michael Furnish, Nancy Furnish, Andrew Furnish all of Illinois; adopted granddaughter: Amanda ?Charlie Brown? Barnett of California. Memorials may be made to First Church of the Nazarene, Whitney, TX or White Bluff Chapel, Whitney, TX.
