Dorothy Herrin

Dorothy Herrin, 82, of Lewisville, Texas, formerly of Hillsboro, Texas, died Tuesday, May 6, 2008, at Lewisville Estates Assisted Living in Lewisville. Dorothy was born May 20, 1925 in Magnolia, Mississippi the daughter of William and Mary Neely. She grew up in Jackson, Mississippi. In 1942 she married Henry McClurg and they were married for 22 years. Then in 1972 she married Red Herrin and moved to Texas. For several years she worked as an LVN at Hill Regional Hospital. She was of the Baptist faith. Preceding her in death were her parents, both husbands, four brothers, and four sisters. Survivors include her children, Henry McClurg of Houston and Ann Williams and husband, Gary, of Southlake; three grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
