Dorothy Kite

Dorothy Dottie was the daughter of Cleland and Sarah Alice Appleton Souter. She was born in Houston, Tx. on April 26, 1917. Departed from this life on February 21, 2008 at her home in Whitney. Dottie traveled extensively, loved life and leaves behind her loving tribe and numerous friends. She was of the Methodist faith and member of Eastern Star Chapter # 930 of Whitney. Dottie was preceded in death by her parents, 1st husband and also 2nd husband, Henry F. Klein in 2001. Survivors include husband, Jay Kite of Whitney Children: Joyce Jones and husband Richard of Ft. Worth; Jaylene Van Devender and husband William E. of Whitney; Jean Jones and husband Lloyd of Ft.
