Dorothy Lankston

Dorothy was born October 27, 1925 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Jessie William and Opal Ellis Fair. Before moving to the Whitney area in 1973, she lived in Fort Worth. On June 7, 1941 she married R. L. Lankston and he preceded her in death on January 18, 1984. She enjoyed working in the yard, helping others anyway she could, and was a member of Fort Graham Baptist Church in Whitney. Survivors include two sons, Teddy Ray Lankston and Richard Lankston both of Whitney; a sister, Merle Bumguardner of Wichita Falls; two grandsons, Tim Lankston and wife, Rita, of Saginaw and Tom Moran and wife, Rolona, of Spring Town; and six great-grandchildren.
