Duke Clark

Duke was the son of John Wallace and Georgia Mae Myers Clark. He married Doris Dugger on December 30, 1950 in Milford, TX. Duke graduated from Blum High School. He was in World War II serving in Gander, Newfoundland, with the 70th Service Squadron as an aircraft mechanic. After World War II ended, he entered the United States Air Force and served 23 ½ years, making the United States Air Force his career. He was serving at Clinton-Sherman A.F.B. in Oklahoma where he retired, February 19, 1963. After his retirement, he stock farmed at his home farm in Blum until September, 1975 when they moved to Whitney. Duke was known at Cedar Creek Park as the Duck Man
