Dustin Michael Riley

Dustin Michael Riley, age 27 of Hillsboro passed away Thursday, March 4, 2021 at his residence.  He will lie in state from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a visitation from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 10, 2021, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Hillsboro.

Dustin was born August 20, 1993 to Rhonda McDaniel and William Riley. Dustin loved computers especially WOW. He taught himself to play the guitar when he was a teenager.  Dustin also loved to cook and could make just about anything, but it all had to be from scratch, he said that was the best way. He loved animals too, especially his mom’s three cats, Mork, Mindy and Eon, that passed away in December. He also loved his dad’s dog Honey. Dustin had the kindest heart, he always loved helping his family, friends and neighbors with everything they needed, all they had to do was ask.

Preceding him in death were his grandfathers, Ron McDaniel and Maxie Riley both of Hillsboro; great-grandmothers, Zue Hartis of Hillsboro and Nellie Webb of Milford; great-grandfather, Jack Webb of Mildred; and his uncle, Kenneth McDaniel of Ft. Worth.

Dustin is survived by his parents, Rhonda McDaniel and William Riley both of Hillsboro; his grandmothers, Gladys McDaniel and Mable Riley both of Hillsboro; aunts, Linda and husband Rick Luttrull of Paris and Angie and husband David Pledger of Hillsboro; uncles, Joe McDaniel and Richard Riley both of Hillsboro; daughter, Ella Garner of Sparks, Nevada; plus numerous cousins and friends, including Jennifer Sheppard of Hillsboro
