Dusty Glen Walther, 26, of Whitney, passed away on May 13, 2007. He was the son of Robert and Evelyn Goerdel Walther. Dusty was born and raised in Hamilton. He graduated from Iredell in 1999 and attended Tarleton State University for three years. Dusty was Sales Manager and a valued staff member at W. B. Ranch. He was the loving son of WB Ranch Manager, Evelyn Jacobs. He loved all the many customers at the WB, and he was very dedicated to his job. He will be remembered for his great laugh, sense of humor and contagious smile. Dusty was a shooting instructor for NSCA and loved golf, baseball, football and spending time with family and friends. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Hamilton, Texas. Please keep Evelyn and the entire WB Ranch staff in your prayers during this difficult time. We wish grace and peace to you all. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Joe Carroll; grandmother, Lois Collins; grandfather, Wayne Collins, grandmother, Ruth Walther and great grandfather Edmond Goerdel. Survivors incluede his mother, Evelyn Jacobs of Whitney; father, Robert Walther, of Houston; stepbrother, Chad Carroll of New Jersey; uncle, Eldon Gregory and wife, Jean of Stephenville; aunt, Kathy Collins of Fort Worth; aunt, Kristi Townley and husband, Nathan of Whitney; uncle, Kelly Collins and wife, Diane of Whitney; aunt, Cindy Walther of Hamilton; grandfather, Vernon Walther of Hamilton; great grandmother, Inez Goerdel of Hamilton; several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
