Dwayne Dyer

Dwayne Simpson Dyer 62 of Forest Hill passed away on March 1, 2012 in Fort Worth.

Memorial service will be at 6:30 PM, Monday, March 5, 2012 at Twin Oaks Baptist Church in Keller with Rev. Jesse Simon and Rev. David Fogarty officiating.

Graveside services will be held at Noon, Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at Whitney Memorial Park in Whitney. Visitation will be from 9 - 11 a.m. Tuesday morning prior to service at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors in Whitney.

Dwayne was born on August 31, 1949 in Fort Worth to the late William “Jack” and Imogene (Shaw) Dyer. On August 17, 1990, he married Ruth Fogarty in Fort Worth. He enjoyed playing softball and played as a pitcher for many years. He was self employed as a roof salesman; an avid pool player and a prolific conversationalist.

Dwayne loved his wife and children and grandchildren unconditionally but above all he loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was a member of the Twin Oaks Baptist Church in Keller.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth of Forest Hills; children, Dwayne S. Dyer, II and wife Marcie of Burleson, Robert B. Dyer of Mansfield; Tiffany Hodges of White Settlement, Sereena Hodges of Alvarado, Emily Hodges of Glen Rose, Cassidy Hodges of Crowley; brother, Larry Don Dyer of Forrest Hill; sister, Diana Jeanette Richards and husband, Rick of Salt Lake City, Utah; 8 grandchildren, Hayley Dyer, Ashley Dyer, Christian Dyer, Summer Hodges, Ryann Ballinger, Jadlee Armstrong, Cara Baxter and Zoey Hodges.
