Edgar ‘E.C.’ Lincecum, 66, of Whitney, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, February 9, 2016. The family will host a memorial service at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 5, 2016, at First United Methodist Church in Hillsboro at the Family Life Center.
E.C. was born May 15, 1949 to Ed and Wanda Lincecum of Howard County, Texas. He grew up in west Texas, later moving to central Texas where he worked several years for Six Flags, Tandy Center and later at Speed Zone. He returned to Hill County in 2012. He loved his four legged friend, Mindy, his family, fishing, NASCAR and conservative politics.
He is survived by his wife, Claire Lincecum; five daughters, Tammy Diseker of Dallas, Terri Schmidt of Austin, Tina Landin and husband Benny, of Grand Prairie, Jennifer Nowlin and husband Kennie, of Whitney, and Rebecca Hankey and husband Carl, of Mansfield; and a son, Charles ‘Bud’ Lincecum of Casper, Wyoming; and 19 grandchildren.
