Ed Brown

Ed Brown, 78, of Whitney died Wednesday, December 17, 2008, at Hill Regional Hospital in Hillsboro. Ed was born April 5, 1930 in Oklahoma the son of Lewis and Nellie Davis Brown. He grew up in Fort Worth. In 1950 he married Betty Eades. For 30 years he worked in Fort Worth as a sheet metal worker before retiring and moving to Whitney in 1985. Preceding him in death were his parents, twin brothers, and a sister. Survivors include his wife, Betty Brown of Whitney; children, Debra Schoenig and husband, Roy, of Argyle, Valerie Stevison and husband, Dennis, of Whitney, and James Brown and wife, Blanca, of Waco; five grandchildren, Stacey Brown, Chad Schoenig, Cody Schoenig, Patrick Brown, and Analise Brown; and four great-grandchildren, Ashley, Andrew, Gage, and Makaela. Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
