Edith White

Edith was born February 21, 1917 in the Arnot Community, of Hill County, Texas to Willis Clifford and Nannie Walker White. She grew up in Hill County and graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1935. In 1936 she started teaching. In 1954 she received her Master?s from Texas Weslyan College. For over a period of 35 years she taught elementary in Hillsboro, Itasca, and Alvarado. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Hillsboro. Preceding her in death were her parents; a sister, Hazel White on January 11, 1991; and a brother, Thomas White in June 1972. Survivors include a niece, Vivia Daniels of Fort Worth; three nephews, James White of Fort Worth, Tom White of Arlington, John White of Vienna, VA; and several great-nieces and nephews.
