Eleanor Walters, 98, of Hillsboro died Sunday, October 7, 2007, of Hill Regional Hospital in Hillsboro. Eleanor was born December 6, 1908 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin the daughter of Alouzo and Mary Schweitz Beamer. She received a Bachelors Degree in nursing. One of her happiest times in life was when she was a ballet dancer and danced in the Nut Cracker in Chicago. She also appeared on the cover of Vogue Magazine. In 1932 she married George Walters and he preceded her in death in April 1988. They had a son, John Patrick Walters, who preceded her in on March 6, 2006. She missed him with her whole heart. She was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Hillsboro and Court of The Catholic Daughters Mary Mother of Mercy #2143 in Hillsboro. Survivors include her grandchildren, Johnny Walters and his wife, Theresa, Kurt Walters and wife, Lacey, and Vickie Minson and husband Alan, of Hillsboro and their family, Sherri Duenas of Oklahoma City, OK; great-grandsons, Patrick Walters and wife, Veronica, Tejay Walters and wife, Lisa; great-great grandchildren, Trinity, Felicity, Haylie, Tyler, Jooniper, and Laila; and daughter-in-law, Mildred Walters.
