Elizabeth Ann "Liz" Fife, 71, of Hillsboro died Wednesday, September 26, 2007, at her residence. Liz was born March 23, 1936 in Everman, Texas the daughter of Robert and Margaret Pugh Grimsley. On February 3, 1979 she married Bobby Fife in Arlington. She worked for the City of Arlington in the water department and at Aerospaciale Helicopter in Grand Prairie. She also raised cattle, baled hay, was an avid gardener, and loved plants. A very active and faithful member of Line Street United Methodist Church in Hillsboro, Liz served as a Sunday school teacher. Since 1992 she has been a member of Les Causeuses Club in Hillsboro, served as past president, and was named District Club Woman of The Year. She was also a member of the Arlington Business Women?s Association and chairman of Women?s Forum. She served as a museum docent at the Hill County Cell Block Museum in Hillsboro, very active with Bond?s Alley and served on it?s board, and participated in the home economics division of the Hill County Fair. Preceding her in death were her parents; a son, Glenn Cole; and a brother, A. J. Brown. Survivors include her husband, Bobby Fife of Hillsboro; children, Debbie Cole of Hillsboro, Sheryl Harper and husband, Bland, of Euless, Sandra Berndt and husband, Dan, of Fort Worth, and Jon Fife of Euless; brother, Robert Grimsley of Lawton, OK; sister, Bobbie Hanson of Everman; 11 grandchildren, Jesse Cole of Fort Worth; Carson and Cooper Cole of Hillsboro; Chris Hull and wife, Marsha, and Michael Hull all of Lubbock; Ryan Harper of Terrell; Jeremy Moore and wife, Ginny, and Shannon Hoffman all of Fort Worth; Zachary and Nicholas Fife both of Arlington; and Bethany Harper of Euless; and four great-grandchildren.
