Elizabeth Taylor

Elizabeth Underwood Taylor, 95, of Whitney, passed away on August 2, 2015, at a Whitney nursing home. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, August 5, 2015, at Whitney Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM, Tuesday, August 4, 2015, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Whitney.

Elizabeth was born on June 20, 1920, to Sherman Andrew and Barbara Ann (Barnhart) Underwood in Whitney and lived there most of her life. She married James Rolan “Jim” Taylor and they were married for 43 years until his passing. Her calling was to be a nurse (LVN) for over 30 years.

She is survived by a son Rolan Gene “Red” Taylor and wife, Martha, a daughter, Joy Hudson, and a granddaughter, Leigh Ann Kopp and husband, Phil.

She sleeps in God.
