Elizabeth Ann (Sturman) Windle

Elizabeth Ann Windle (Sturman) age 86 of Whitney passed away Saturday November 25, 2023, at her residence. A graveside service will be held at 10:15 am Thursday, November 30, 2023, at Dallas Ft. Worth National Cemetery in Dallas. A visitation will be held from 2:00-5:00 pm Wednesday November 29, 2023, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Whitney.

Betty was born in Bay City, Michigan to Rueben Sturman and Gwendolyn (Flaws). At the age of 8, she began her faith in Jesus. She graduated from Leslie High School in Leslie, MI. Later in life Betty graduated from Jackson Business University in Jackson, MI. She was employed by Victor Chemical Company in Chicago, IL. She also attended Wheaton College in Wheaton, IL. Betty was united in marriage to Wally in 1961 at the First Baptist Church, Napoleon, MI. She was a beloved wife and mother of four children.

Betty moved from MI to TX in 1977, and to White Bluff in 2004. She was very active in White Bluff Chapel services, welcoming committee, and Bible studies. Her interests included cooking, sewing, flower gardening, bird watching, bowling, golfing, Tupperware sales, playing piano, and singing.

Betty is survived by her loving husband, Wallace Windle; her sister, Donna (Art) Baumgartner; her children, Melanie (Windle) Lippert, Diane (Nathan) Henne, Keith (Shona) Windle, Nathan (Jennifer) Windle; grandchildren David, Chad, Dustin, Harmony, Veith, Seth, Benjamin, Brion Lippert; and great grandchildren, Evelynn, Henry, Elliot, and Liam Lippert.
