Ella Maynard

Ella Mae Maynard, 89, of Abbott died Tuesday, September 11, 2007, at West Rest Haven in West. Ella Mae was born June 27, 1918 in Malone, Texas the daughter of Henry and Olga Zettler Monthei. On December 17, 1936 she married George Maynard in Hubbard and he preceded her in death on June 6, 1991. She loved to garden and especially loved her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids. She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Malone. Survivors include her children, Georgia Ann Lewis and husband, Alfred, of Fort Worth, Jerry G. Maynard and wife, JoAnn, of West, Donald Maynard and wife, Martha Ann, of Elm Mott, Pauline Killough and husband, Bill, of West, and Kenneth Maynard of Abbott; three brothers, Louis Monthei of Fort Worth, Dennis Monthei of Malone, and Melvin Monthei of Fort Worth; two sisters, Lillian Caram and Lenora Robertson both of Fort Worth; seven grandchildren; and eight great-great grandchildren.
