Ellar Owens

Ellar Mae Britton Sanders Owens, 87, of Jenks, Oklahoma, and formerly of Whitney, Texas, joined her heavenly family on Tuesday, May 15, 2007. Ella was born in Okfuskee, Oklahoma on August 28, 1919 to the late John R. and Minnie Britton. She lived the majority of her life in Anson, Abilene and Whitney, Texas. She moved to Sand Springs, Oklahoma in 1995. Ella was a resident of the Grace Living Center in Jenks, Oklahoma for the past few years. Ella was preceded in death by husband, J. D. Owens. She passed on her strong family values to numerous decedents. Ella is survived by daughters, Rosie Morquecho and husband, Pete of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, Ruby Czarnecki and husband, Ed of Hillsboro, Texas, Pearl Lindsley and husband, Larry of Centerville, Michigan; by son, Charlie Sanders and wife, Pat of North Richland Hills, Texas and son, Lee Roy Sanders and wife, Allene of Jefferson City, Missouri. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren and numerous great grand children and great-great grandchildren. Ella is also survived by sister, Maudie Pack of Redding, California and sister, Ellen Edwards of Yakima, Washington.
