Eloise Hackworth

Eloise R. Hackworth, 68, of Hillsboro passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2016, at Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest Medical Center in Waco. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 20, 2016, at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Hillsboro with Rev. Phil Hunt of Grace City Church in Hillsboro officiating.

Eloise was born February 7, 1948 in Bay Minette, Alabama and grew up in Midlothian, Texas. On September 27, 1972, she was united in marriage to Clayton Hackworth. He preceded her in death on September 20, 2012. During her working career, she was employed as a seamstress, clothing inspector, and waitress. In her leisure time, Eloise liked to paint and sing. She was of the Missionary Baptist faith.

Also preceding her in death were her parents, Hazel and Neal Ford; brothers, Wiley Lynn Atchison and William Atchison; and an infant sister, Betty Jo Atchison.

Survivors include her son, Stormy Hackworth and wife, Carol, of Hillsboro; brother, Greg Goetz and wife, Linda, of Augusta, South Carolina; and three sisters, Hazel Robinson of Hico, Virginia Ford of Dallas, and Linda Faye Kirkland of Stephenville.
