Eric Hester

Eric Wayne Hester age 44, of Aquilla passed away Thursday, October 17, 2013. Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M., Monday, October 21, 2013, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Whitney. Mr. Chris Hooten will be officiating. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery near Whitney. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 6:00 P.M. Sunday, October 20, 2013 at the funeral home in Whitney.

Eric was born December 11,1968, in Fort Worth, to George Rodney and Jeanne Gail (Cartwright) Hester. On October 30, 1992, he married Tarana Riddle in Cleburne Texas. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved the outdoors. A music lover, Eric loved to sing Karoke, especially loved Bluegrass and was an avid Elvis fan. He was very outgoing with a bold personality, very outspoken, and he never met a stranger. He loved his family very much, especially spending time with his three sons. He was of the Baptist faith and worked for Ince Lawn Care in Whitney.

He was preceded in death by his mother Jeanne Gail Hester on November 25, 1991.

Survivors include his wife Tarana, of Aquilla, father George Hester and wife Rita, of Fort Worth; children, Dalton Wayne Hester, George Randall Hester, and Mason Everett Hester all of Aquilla; brother; Jarrett Crawford and wife Crystal of Fort Worth, sisters; Lisa Diane Shelton and husband Tom, of Fort Worth, Gail Bryon and husband Kevin, of Freemont, California; mother-in-law Mary Davis and husband O.J. of Cleburne; as well as several nieces and nephews.
