Eron Bodine

Eron Boaz Bodine was born in Grayson County, Texas and married James Thomas Tom Bodine on November 21, 1936 in Hillsboro. The couple moved to San Antonio for many years before moving to Whitney in 1970. A wonderful storyteller, Eron loved to tell the story about the time she rode out a hurricane in the rumble seat of a car under the awning of a filling station. Preceding her in death was her parents; husband, Tom; and all seven of her siblings. She is survived by her daughter; Sarah Hargrave and husband, Bevard E., of Richardson; two grandchildren, Cody Arvidson, PhD and husband, Mark, of Richardson, and James Hargrave of Plano; two great-grandchildren, Caegan Arvidson and Devan Arvidson; two sisters-in-law: Alice Boaz of Corpus Christi and Myrtle Boaz of Sherman; and many nieces and nephews.
