Eula Fay (Blount) Mcmahan

Eula Fay Blount McMahan, 64, of Hillsboro went to be with her Savior and Lord on February 24, 2022, after a lengthy battle with cancer.  Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Hillsboro with Mr. Ryan Mangum officiating.  Visitation will be held from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. Tuesday prior to service time.

Eula Fay Blount McMahan was born June 12, 1957, to O. R. and Annie Fay Blount in Perryton, Texas, and lived in Gruver, Texas, all her childhood.  Eula was a member of the Hillsboro Church of Christ.  She worked at Home Depot in Cleburne, Texas, for twelve years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, O. R. and Fay Blount; brothers, Odis Blount and Charley Blount; sister, Joyce Blount Helzer; and her husband, Jim McMahan.

She is survived by her brothers, Alford Blount and wife, Nan, John Blount, Bobby Blount, and wife, Laura, all from Amarillo, and Robert Blount and wife, Luann, of Gruver; sisters, Geneva Wheeler and husband, Jim, of Joshua, Cora Metcalf and husband, John, of Hillsboro and Francis Houghton and husband, Scott, of Julesburg, CO; and sister-in-law, Tammy Blount of Fort Worth. She is also survived by her daughters; Denise Hennessee of Iowa and Crystal Euchner and husband, Jason, of Iowa; sons, Jonathan Hennessee, and wife, Jackie, of Iowa, Donnie McMahan of Spearman, and Lance McMahan of Tyler. Eula has twenty-six nieces and nephews; thirty-six great nieces and nephews; four great-great nieces and nephews; seven grandchildren; and one great grandchild.  She had numerous loved ones she worked with, grew up with, and went to church with that will miss her as well.

Eula will be laid to rest next to her husband Jim in Gruver, Texas.
