Eunice Mcmahan

Eunice McMahan, 91, of North Richland Hills, passed away on November 28, 2018. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 1, 2018, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors chapel in Whitney. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery in Whitney. A visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m., on Friday, November 30th at the funeral home.

Eunice was born on December 31, 1926, in Waco, to Peter and Hazel (Butler) Young. She received her Bachelor of Education from Mary Hardin Baylor University. On December 31, 1953, she married Earl McMahan in Hamspshire, Texas. She loved reading and handwork as well as volunteering for Meals on Wheels and at the Whitney Hospital. Eunice was a member of First Baptist Church in Whitney where she sang in the choir.

Preceding her in death were her parents and a sister and brother.

Survivors include her children, Paul Allen and wife, Becky, of Winnie, Mary Jane Lanfear and husband, Larry, of Arlington, and Sue Ann Dickson and husband, Brad, of North Richland Hills; 5 grandchildren, Allen McMahan, Jennifer McMahan, James Lanfear, Josh Lanfear and Josephy Lanfear; 6 great-grandchildren, Alex Baker McMahan,, Allison McMahan, Ruth Ann McMahan, Logan Lanfear, Brooklyn Lanfear and Fischer Lanfear.
