Eva Henderson

Eva June Henderson, age 96, passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2025, in Grandview, Texas. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, March 31, 2025, at Itasca Cemetery with Diane Barnes officiating.

June was born June 30, 1928, in Hill County to J.W. and Eliza (Moore) Baker. She attended school in Itasca and Hill College. She married James Hester Henderson on June 8, 1947.

She worked in banking for forty-five years, retiring from the vice president position. June was a member of Itasca Church of Christ, Garden Club, 42 Club and Rotary Club. She also enjoyed traveling.

June is preceded in death by her parents, J.W. and Eliza Baker; her husband, James; and her siblings, Belle, Lois, Recie, David Earl and James. She is survived by seventeen nieces and nephews and thirty-two great nieces and nephews.
