Faye Wood

Born on March 25, 1910 the daughter of J.M. and Lula Sanders Golson. On March 18, 1928 she married J.D. McCleskey and he preceded her in death on May 22, 1966. She married O.B. Wood on December 23, 1968 and he preceded her in death on April 16, 1990 and also preceded in death by one grandson, Jack Morris McCleskey. They lived in Ft. Worth and retired to Whitney in 1974. She later moved to Schulenberg in 1992. Faye was of the Baptist faith. Survivors: Son; Jack McCleskey and wife, Ann of Schulenberg two step-daughters: Linda Eaton of Arlington and Dana Chandler and husband, Bill of Bedford; one sister: Jamie Frances Sanders of San Antonio. Two granddaughters, four step granchildren, two great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
