Felipe Ramirez

Felipe Jimenez Ramirez, 96, of Hillsboro died Wednesday, January 3, 2007, at Town Hall Estates Nursing Home in Hillsboro. Felipe was born May 1, 1910 in Valley Mills, Texas the son of Felipe and Grabiela Jimenez Ramirez. On October 26, 1935 he married Dolores Galvan in Hill County and she preceded him in death on May 29, 2002.He loved to dance, listen to music, and tell jokes. He was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Hillsboro. Also preceding him in death were his parents, three brothers, 1 sister, and a son, Bentura Ramirez. Survivors include his children, Blasa Salas of Hillsboro, Guadalupe Ramirez of Waxahachie, Josephine Garcia of Hillsboro, Roberto Ramirez of Dallas, Juanita Hernandez of Waxahachie, Felipe Ramirez, Jr. of Hillsboro, and Dolores Martinez of Hillsboro; 28 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great grandchildren.
