Floy Ross

Floy Halford Ross passed away in Hurst, Texas on June 15, 2007. She was the daughter of Robert Leslie and Zelda Mae Gardener Halford. Floy graduated from Aquilla High School. She married Herman Ross in 1936. She became an LVN in the mid 1960's and lived in many places before retiring back to the farm in Abbott. In 1979 she moved to Hurst. She was a member of several Nurses Associations. She was a Methodist. Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Herman Ross; brother, Hollis Halford; grandson, Jason Ross and great grandson, Evan Ross. Survivors include her sons, Les Ross and wife, Kris of Sherman, Bob Ross and wife, Gwynne of Flower Mound; sister, Judy Breeding and husband, Don of The Woodlands; grandchildren, Scott Ross of Houston, Brian Ross of Temple, Jeremy Ross of Colorado City, Brent Ross of Lubbock and 5 great grandchildren
