Frances Clevinger

Frances Loretta Clevinger, 80 of Whitney passed away on May 7, 2009 at her residence. Frances was born on March 19, 1929 in Coeburn, Virginia, the daughter of Wellington and Oakley Counts Boggs. She married Basil Clevinger on March 15, 1946 and he preceded her in death on March 15, 2002. They moved to Whitney in 1999. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Also preceding her in death were her parents and brother, Robert Boggs. Survivors include her son, Tommy Eugene Clevinger and wife, Diana Lynn of Whitney; brother, Bill Boggs of Bristol, Virginia; sister, Shirley Stacey of Oakwood, Virginia; grandchildren, Michael Eugene Clevinger, Robert Wayne Clevinger and wife, Amy, Catherine Annette Clevinger; great grandchildren, Michael Shae Clevinger, Brittany Danielle Clevinger, Caitlin Terese Clevinger, Kamryn Bailee Clevinger and great great grandchild, Cayden Lorenz.
