Frances Goodman

Frances Ruth Goodman, 88 of Blum passed away on June 16, 2011 in Keene.

Services will be held Saturday, June 18, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors in Whitney with Mr. B. B. Stevens officiating. Interment will follow at Blum Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00- 8:00 PM Friday at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors.

Frances was born on March 17, 1923 in Whitney. She was the daughter of the late Arthur and Edna Lee (Cook) Boyd.

She grew up in Whitney and lived most of her life in Blum.
July 20, 1940, she married Boyd Goodman and he preceded her in death on May 28, 1989. They owned and operated several business. She enjoyed her hobbies of quilting and gardening and was a member of the Blum Church of Christ.

Also preceding her in death were her 2 children, Jimmy Goodman, Norweita Kyle; son-in-law, Jackie Kyle and 8 siblings.

Survivors include her daughter, Melva Scott and husband, Kaye of Rio Vista; 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Charity of Choice.
