Frances Jewel "Judy" Hornsby passed away on July 20, 2006 in Whitney. She was the daughter of Hiram and Myrtle Lee Clark Walker. She grew up in Longview, Texas where she graduated from Pine Tree High School in 1948. She received her training as a nurse at Henderson College in Henderson, TX. On Nov. 17, 1951 she married Charles Edwin Blankenship and he preceded her in death on July 25, 1987. On Feb. 10, 1990 she married Thomas T. Hornsby in Fort Worth and he preceded her in death on June 12, 2002. Judy had been a resident of Whitney since 1993; was a member of the Whitney Church of Christ and a member of Order of Eastern Star in Longview. Survivors include her children, Charlee Scharlene Kimball and husband, David of Mt. Ida, AR; Sharon Lynn Welch and husband, Dennis Karl of Westlake, TX; brothers, Floyd W. ?Sonny? Walker of Mansfield, Franklin L. ?Billy? Walker of Hillsboro; sister, Bobbie Jean Reid - Wurstzburger of Michigan City, IN; sisters-in-law, Bonnie Simcik of Whitney, Fay Railsback of Conroe, Betty Umenhoffer of Corpus Christi; brother-in-law and sister in law, Gene and Dell Miller of Whitney; grandchildren, Lesley Knight, Michael Seitz, Christopher Welch; great-grandchildren, E.
