Frances Hudson

Frances Hay Hudson 78, of Whitney went home to be with her Lord and Savior on October 5, 2010. Frances was born on February 3, 1932 in Abilene; the daughter of the late Jesse and Zelda Ezell Hay. On September 1, 1948 she married Don Hudson in Abilene and he preceded her in death on November 10, 1992. Frances enjoyed gospel music and had many talents in music which included playing the piano. She was a active and faithful member of Lake Whitney Baptist Church where she played the piano and also played for various nursing homes in Whitney and previously in the west Texas area. She was an avid pie maker and fisherman. She was also preceded in death by her son, Jerry Hudson on July 31, 2002; brother, Reagan Hay and grandson, Nathan Carl Renteria Moore. Survivors include children, Jim Hudson of Whitney; Debbie Moore and husband, Rodney of Laguna Park; sister, Joanne Horton an husband Charlie of Paige; 5 grandchildren, Terry Lee Hudson of Nashville, TN, Christi Romeo and husband Kelly of Keller, TX, Ricky Don Hudson and wife Melissa of Springfield, Missouri, Rebekah Denise Burleson and husband Jessie of Campbell, Missouri, Anna Sanford of Laguna Park, TX; 4 great grandchildren, Gabriel Hudson, Shadon Romeo, Scooter Burleson, Tabitha Burleson, numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
